About the role

Imprint is reimagining the relationship between consumers and the brands they love through innovation in payments and rewards. Specifically, we’re building a branded credit card, payments and rewards platform to serve merchants and marketplaces born on the internet. Our goal is to empower merchants to share in the significant loyalty, sales, and margin improvements that result from branded credit card and loyalty programs

As we work to build our branded credit card platform, we have a tremendous amount to build and a tremendous number of key decisions to make.

We are looking to hire a strong action-oriented business generalist to lead Business Operations & Strategy at Imprint. This person will report directly to our co-founder and COO and will lead high-impact projects across the business. Your role will span the spectrum from short-term operational improvements to long-term strategic projects. This is a role where you will wear many hats and play a meaningful role in shaping and building our business. Your role will include:

• Designing and executing high-impact projects that deliver strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the company
• Working with the leadership team to translate strategic goals into operational initiatives
• Filling any gaps as we scale — Helping us stand up new functions and developing new processes, and then transitioning those items to full-time owners so you can move on to the next priority area
• Oversee strategic planning and resource allocation processes that determine how we prioritize opportunities across the business
• Combining insight and vast amounts of data to make key strategic and operational decisions

Your day-to-day

• Identify and lead high-impact projects that optimize operations and improve business results across the company
• Take ownership over discrete parts of the business and positively impact core KPIs in a meaningful way
• Pilot new processes to get them up and running quickly, then figure out how to transform those processes into scalable solutions that can be handed off to long-term owners
• Identify opportunities to add value to the business; develop strategic and tactical plans to capitalize on those opportunities
• Grow with the organization by stepping in to lead new initiatives, solving problems, and tackling new challenges wherever you are needed
• Collaborate with data and analytics to ensure that business insights are incorporated into strategic and operational decisions
